MASS PRODUCTION
DESIGN BRIEF

To design and manufacture in quantity 40 Pizzas for sale within school on the 3^rd of December 1999.

The group to divide itself into teams which will form a company to:

• Research
• Design & Develop
• Cost
• Advertise
• Manufacture
• Sell

The group is to split itself into teams and each team is to write an action plan for its own part of the company and appoint members to specific tasks.

The teams are to appoint a leader who will liase with other group leaders and make decisions about the project. All team members will take part in the manufacture and selling of the pizzas on December the 3^rd in S25 at dinnertime.

Each team must produce its own folder which at the end of the project will be collated together to produce a whole group folder.

During the manufacture of the pizzas, team leaders are responsible for hygiene and health and safety issues reporting directly to Mr Mortimer who will oversee the production.

All the students in Technology at Whitgift School work to a DESIGN BRIEF.

For this Project the students had to write not only their own Design Brief but also Plan and Monitor the project all by themselves.

They have researched, planned, marketed, advertised, manufactured and evaluated this project in six weeks
