Day Two
By applying the principles and strategies offered during this session, participants will:

Module 2a (9:15am - 12noon)
Have further understanding of the key factors that affect pupil behaviour within school
This session considers the ways in which attitude and approach towards pupils affects their behavioural responses on a day-to-day basis. It encourages the individual to reflect upon their own personal approach to pupils.
Be able to apply specific classroom strategies to ensure minimal opportunity for negative pupil behaviour
Simple guidance and specific practical actions that can be taken to minimise opportunity for negative pupil behaviour in the classroom.

Module 2b (12:45pm - 3:30pm)
Be able to apply clear expectations and positive actions to ensure positive pupil behaviour
This session will help to clarify and convey expectations regarding behaviour. It will include ideas for effective rewards and sanctions, and specific guidance on how to develop the personal qualities and attitudes that are essential for effective group behaviour management.
