National Fishing Heritage Centre - Grimsby
Click on the link to visit a resource featuring science and numeracy activities based upon the National Fishing Heritage Centre. This resource was created by Jo Lowe from Enfield Primary School with support from Yvonne Walker, LEA Primary ICT Consultant. The project was managed by EBLO with funding from the Yorkshire Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (YMLAC).

Ice Balloons
As part of the launch of a new website created as part of a teacher placement organised by EBLO, teachers were invited to attend the National Fishing Heritage Centre. They were given a tour of the centre and were asked to think of ideas for activities linking resources in the NFHC with primary numeracy and science curriculum. They were then given the opportunity to carry out a science investigation on ice balloons, one of the activities to be found on the new website.
