These are the lesson plan for the Expressions Lesson and
a Data Handling Lesson (making a graph).

To use direct speech in writing.
Look at photos of children.
Decide what they might be saying or thinking.
I write in speech or thought balloon.

Photos stored on computer
4 x sheets of photos.
bank of words 'said' 'thought' etc.
prepared sheets to fit photo on, with speech balloon and space for a sentence.
To discover what questions can be found out from a bar graph.
Type in numbers to make graph about favourite seaside snacks. Watch graph from graph, then write down some questions.
Simple IVT Graph programme
Tally sheets. (info from other classes prepared day before.
To use consonant clusters to make real words.
On big board display a selection of VC words. Display Consonant clusters on wall nearby.
In two's on DW boards, make as many words as they can. Eg: spl at
Activboard (onset and rime resources)
