Athletics team Coach of 5 years, Mr Justin Hyldon tries to explain why he thinks his team have won the trophy so often.

“The children have a lot of natural talent, without this to put into practise, you won’t get very far. The children are always very committed and attend athletics club without fail every week. They train outdoors in all weathers, even sleet and snow!” The coach explained how he motivates the children by using the classroom technique of target setting. “I mark the distances, heights etc for the children to help them to aim for a particular place, they great a super sense of achievement when they meet these targets and ask for a new target to aim for”
